USGS's 2022 yearbook lists Minière de Kasombo with Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt holding 72% and an estimated cobalt capacity of 2,600 tonnes a year. Gécamines' 2024 management report counts 1,439 tonnes of copper and 9.6 tonnes of cobalt from MIKAS in its own new-metal output, produced by toll treatment under its contracts with partners. The mining cadastre lists LA MINIERE DE KASOMBO as holder of PE 13120 and research permits 9714 and 9715, the three titles ITIE-RDC's 2025 artisanal report gives to MIKAS; that report's roster of processing entities lists LA MINIERE DE KASOMBO and MIKAS on two lines, one company counted twice. The ministry statistics it reproduces give MIKAS 765 tonnes of cobalt in 2022 and 216 tonnes in 2023, and its site fiche for Kapombo lists MIKAS among the depot holders at that artisanal site, with no quantity.
