Kimbotela

Kimbotela is a site of the Ministry of Mines’ 2025 list of artisanal and small-scale copper and cobalt sites (CARTOMINES) in Kipushi territory, Haut-Katanga, recorded as active at its evaluation of 1 April 2025, with copper as the mineral worked, on title PE 527. It is also listed in the mapping of de facto artisanal sites by SAEMAPE’s Haut-Katanga directorate, ITIE-RDC’s study of 15 July 2025 and IPIS’s open data (visit of 15 May 2019 for BGR’s project). The 2025 study prints Likasi as its location.
