The DRC's mining cadastre, which manages the mining domain and mining and quarry titles under the Minister of Mines; its structures were set by Décret n°17/005 of 3 April 2017. In artisanal mining its opinion is required before an artisanal exploitation zone is instituted, and it enters those zones on the mining map. Its title register was BGR's reference for the legal status of the copper-cobalt sites mapped in 2019, and C4D's paper names it as the body that registered Gécamines' sublease of the pilot sites to EGC.
